Sell the company at the price it deserves
What founders tell us before a sale
- The multiple you were offered is below what you expected, and nobody explained the gap.
- One client brings more than 40% of revenue, and buyers price that risk in.
- Key clients, sales and delivery decisions run through you; the company is hard to hand over.
- Management reporting and the P&L need weeks of cleanup before anyone can read them.
- Margins sit below the benchmark buyers use, and the forecast is a spreadsheet of hopes.
- The valuation suits you, and now you need a buyer, a teaser, a CIM and someone to run the process.
What lowers the multiple
- Positioning: A company without a clear niche is priced as capacity, and capacity sells at the low end of the range.
- Operating maturity: Buyers pay for a system that runs without the founder: delivery governance, account management, documented processes.
- Financial transparency: Clean, forecastable numbers shorten due diligence and remove the discount for uncertainty.
- Portfolio risk: Contracts, retention and client concentration decide how much of the price is paid at closing and how much is deferred.
Three steps from a number to a closed deal
- 1Valuation check
We score the drivers of your multiple: niche, client portfolio, founder dependency, margins, financial transparency and the risks a buyer will find in due diligence.
- 2Raise the multiple
Where the valuation suits you, we go to market. Where it does not, we work on the drivers with the lowest score first: securing the portfolio, reducing concentration, sharpening the niche, cleaning the P&L.
- 3Run the deal
Teaser and CIM, a shortlist of buyers, warm introductions and negotiation support; the closing runs with our M&A partners. The seller pays on success.
